Barry the Hiker. is a challenging skill-based platformer on Roblox by solo developer angrillon (also credited as Ango), launched in July 2023. Players guide the character Barry up the fictional Mount Eggverest - a mountaineering obby built around a fail-retry-improve philosophy. With 3.6 million visits and 33K favorites, it has developed a dedicated community around its punishing-but-fair difficulty and collectible hat system.

The movement toolkit is the heart of the game. Mastering six mechanics and chaining them fluidly is the difference between crawling and flowing through the mountain:
